No relationships we have or have had with others, no matter how close, were in vain. I believe people come and go in and out of our lives. But I also believe that every single one of them were put in our lives for a specific purpose at that particular time. I've had to realize this is grieving the loss of some relationship that I just assumed would remain forever. The more I grow and look back on it, the more the Lord is revealing to me that those people were there for that season. And not to resent them for no longer being there.
