Thank you Mr. President

While most are celebrating a historic day in our nation, I thought I would take the time to say thank you to the 43th President of the United States.  President Bush was not a “perfect” leader, but then when you think about it he led an imperfect nation.  Thank you Mr. President for your leadership during 9/11,  thank you for support of the unborn, thank you for support of Israel.  Thank you for keeping our nation safe during your time in office.  Thank you for your willingness to serve a nation that at times didn’t appreciate the decisions you and your administration had to make.  Thank you for not needing to be popular to do your job.  You have always been a gracious leader of our nation, especially in the face of your critics.  Enjoy your retirement and my prayers are with you and with our 44th President.  Farewell
